Tokenization of assets and access to credits and loans are among the diverse use cases that continue to push crypto adoption to exponential highs around the world and in Africa and we cannot downplay its role as a new financing tool for underserved demographics, however, the participation of women in this new economy appears to be limited.
In order to flesh out the advantages of this emerging digital trend as a sequel to the series “Growing Wealth in the New Digital Economy”, we have invited digital economy experts and strong voices for Women in Africa as Panelists.
The conference would feature a plenary session around:
- African context: Women marginalization over centuries and the progress made around smoothening the inequality curve
- Why are women not in the forefront in the new economic “crypto”?
- How can we showcase and bring more women into this new wave of finance?
The purpose of the conference is to spotlight the benefits of the new digital economy to the African woman and to showcase the advantages it holds, especially for early adopters.
We’d like to add that the 1 hour and 30 minutes program is fully organised and anchored by women.
In line with our shared purpose and in furtherance of the same, the Panelists at our forthcoming virtual conference tagged “Women in Crypto and Business” will be discussing the New Wave of Financing for African Women.
Join the conversation today by 11am on Tuesday 24th November, 2020 and stand a chance to be among the attendees to win $1000 Cliqtokens.
