Alexey Pertsev, the Tornado Cash app developer, is to stay in prison for an additional 90 days over suspected money laundering  charges based on order by the Dutch judges.

Pertsev a 29 year male developer who has been under the custody of the Dutch Fiscal Information and Investigation service, this was just after the United  States Treasury sanctioned the Ethereum- Based Mixer, this sanction was actually based on the premise that the Ethereum- Based mixer  is being used to defraud billions of dollars in an unconventional way.

Based on the court ruling he received, just after his arrest ,he was to spend 14days in jail while the investigation was ongoing. He proceeded to court just after the first court ruling but according to reports from Den Bosch, Netherland the judge ruled against it and gave an order that he should be detained for an additional 90 days, amidst the appeal for release on bail by his lawyers.

Though  Pertserv is yet to be charged with a specific crime because he is not linked or has a direct involvement with fraud.  He developed and wrote the open-source code that has been used in fraud and criminal activities of the coin- mixer,  and this has in fact made him a suspect
