In the just-concluded BLOCKDeFi 2020 Virtual Blockchain Conference held on the 12-13th of September, there were discussions on how to leverage blockchain development into the Nigerian economy. Amongst the keynote speakers was Dr. Obiageli Ezekwesili.

Dr. Obiageli Ezekwesili, Senior Economic Advisor, Africa Economic Development Policy Initiative (AEDPI), gave a speech highlighting the need for a strategy to enable Nigeria to leverage blockchain technology to bolster its economic development.
