CoinDCX’s Twitter account hacked, Hacker advertises fake XRP ads.
A hacker has recently hacked into coinDCX’s account and has since been promoting and advertising fake XRP ads.
CoinDCX is a crypto exchange organization found in 2017 by Sumit Gupta, and recently their official twitter handle has been hacked into by an unknown hacker, and this hacker has taken to posting fake Ripple promos that goes with a link that is purely intended to dupe and make away with the assets of its followers.
The CoinDCX customer service in response to their account being hacked has immediately pointed out the scam to it’s users and followers, explicitly warning them not to click or interact with those activities, as they should refrain from clicking either the link or the message coming from the hacked account as the hackers has not just only been retweeting the posts of Ripple Labs CEO, Brad Garlinghouse to make their attack seem authentic but also replying to crypto related tweets with their phishing link. Users who click on this link are at the risk of losing their assets to the scam.
CoinDCX stated that they are already working on recovering the account and would keep their followers up to date with the recovery process.
